Terms of Service

These terms apply when a Shopify merchant installs or uses BWS Smart Shipping Discounts, provided by Ben Web Studio. By using the app, you agree to these terms and Shopify’s applicable terms.

The service

The app lets merchants configure, schedule, test, pause, and review discounts applied to selected Shopify shipping rates. The merchant is responsible for reviewing every configuration, testing checkout behavior, and ensuring that discounts, eligibility rules, dates, markets, and prices match the merchant’s policies.

Accounts and acceptable use

You must be authorized to manage the connected Shopify store and keep store access secure. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it unlawfully.

Billing

Paid plans, trials, renewals, and cancellations are presented and processed through Shopify. The price and billing period shown in the Shopify App Store listing and Shopify approval screen apply to the plan you select.

Availability and changes

We may maintain, improve, or change the service. We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Shopify platform changes, third-party services, network failures, or merchant configuration can affect results.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties not expressly stated in these terms. You remain responsible for shipping prices offered to customers and should verify important promotions before launch. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Termination

You can stop using the service by uninstalling the app. We may suspend access for material misuse, security risk, non-payment, or legal requirements. Provisions that by their nature should survive will continue after termination.
